Lyrics of Invisible
It’s like the room just cleared of smoke
I didn’t even want the heart you broke
It’s yours to keep
You just might need one
I finally found my real name
I won’t be me when you see me again
No, I won’t be my father’s son
I’m more than you know
I’m more than you see here
More than you let me be
I’m more than you know
A body in a soul
You don’t see me but you will
I am not invisible
That’s right
I’m leaving the invisible world
I don’t dream, not as such
I don’t even think about you that much
Unless I start to think at all
All those frozen days
And your frozen ways
They melt away your face like snow
I’m more than you know
I’m more than you see here
I’m more than you let me be
I’m more than you know
A body in a soul
You don’t see me but you will
I am not invisible
I am here
There is no them
There is no them
There’s only us
There’s only us
There is no them
There is no them
There’s only us
There’s only us
There is no them
There is no them
There’s only you
And there’s only me
There is no them
Parsing Invisible Lyrics
U2’s young direct and powerful genre from the late 1970s, the growth of the singing political status in the 1980s and 1990s, and the transformation of more seemingly politicized songs in the past two decades, many of their songs are beautiful and philosophical, which can be understood and experienced from many angles, but most (except for the obvious description of politics and religion) can be tasted from the human world, the truth of life, the song of love, the peace of the world and aspire to the same direction.
(Understand 1) For example, using this song as a description of the changing flow of life, eager to open up and pursuing pure and beautiful love is not easy and persistent, for the one who is always neglected, disdainful, and cold-faced by the person you love, “What you know about me is not the real me”, and instead emphasize the neglected heart. At the end of the song, the singer repeatedly sings “There is no them”, There’s only us”, “There’s only me” can be seen as a respect for the exchange of sincere souls.
Even if the warmth and complexity of life makes you really unable to have the love you desire, the pure and straightforward souls of the two people can still dance in this increasingly impetuous world, as long as you have always been convinced, not attached to a broken heart, but optimistically continue to live their lives.
